Jessica lands role in ‘A Woman of No Importance’

Big movie role!!!While Lindsay Lohan has been spending her time in rehab, trying to straighten out her life, others have been reaping the rewards of her absence. Take Jessica, who has just reportedly landed a plum movie role that had been originally intended for Lindsay. The payout should help Jessica make a few extra credit card purchases this year.

Jessica, 24, will now play Hester Worsley in the film version of Oscar Wilde’s “A Woman of No Importance,” Myriad Films stated in a release to InTouch magazine.

Jessica and JustinAfter a call from Justin Timberlake, Jessica grabbed a plane ticket and has just joined the singer on a Park City snowboarding vacation.

A source is quoted on Perez Hilton as saying: “Justin’s been there (Sundance Film Festival) since January 20th, even though his movie didn’t premiere until four days later. His whole family, including his mom, has been with Justin in Park City while he took this mini-vacation.”

Now it appears that the family is making room for one more. Jessica Biel.

Hilary and Jessica...same dressJessica has become the latest Hollywood star to fall victim to the awards night curse of turning up in a dress worn before by another celebrity.

The actress looked stunning in her trim-fitting metallic gown by Valentino at the Golden Globe Awards Show.

Meanwhile, eagle-eyed red carpet watchers quickly realized that it was the same one Hilary Swank wore to a Vanity Fair Oscars party in 2004.

Jessica said it was "unfortunate", as the designer had told her that she was the first to wear the gown.

"I loved this dress and felt great in it," Biel told USA Today.

"It is unfortunate that I was told by Valentino no-one had ever worn the gown before, but I think Hilary has amazing style, and I'm flattered we share the same taste."

New movie "The Illusionist"Taking a break from going out and staying at luxury hotels with new flame Derek Jeter, Jessica Biel is finding time to promote the movie rental release, "The Illusionist". The film is a mystery drama set in Vienna during the reign of Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria.

A respected movie review source described the film as follows: Edward Norton plays Eisenheim, a poor boy who finds success by becoming a magician. His childhood sweetheart Sophie, played by Jessica, is betrothed to Crown Prince Leopold (Rufus Sewell), a young man eager to grab power who fancies himself a man of science and has a reputation of beating up his girlfriends. Paul Giamatti's Chief Inspector Uhl does the prince's dirty work, but sometimes can't stomach the assignment.

The two were photographed by cingular camera phone carrying fans numerous times this holiday season, most recently getting off a boat at their luxury hotel in Puerto Rico.

The new couple embraced New Years with one another in Puerto Rico. They spent some time playing blackjack at the El Conquistador Resort and Golden Door Spa the past few days, with their credit cards buying them entrance into a roped off area.

Meanwhile, the seven-time all-star and the runner-up for the 2006 American League Most Valuable Player, Derek is returning for another season as the spokesman and cover boy for 2K Sports’ baseball game Major League Baseball 2K7.

Jessica is excited for her new movieJessica is set to light up the screen in an upcoming new movie release from Universal and Adam Sandler's Happy Madison production company. The sure-to-be hit movie release is titled I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry. In the film, Adam Sandler and Kevin James play two straight, single Philadelphia firefighters who devise a way to get health and other spousal benefits by pretending to be a gay couple.

Jessica recently revealed her role with the two funnymen: "I am a gay rights attorney and I am Adam and Kevin's attorney defending them against the state, because they are pretending to be gay. Then I fall in love with Adam, but he's gay, so that's complicated. And he's falling in love with me, but I'm his lawyer, so... (Laughing) It's sort of a really funny, interesting little plot line going on."

Jessica honored with 'Rising Star' title

Jessica is doing a lot of impressing these days. Not only has she been dating baseball star Derek Jeter, she also received a Breakthrough Award from Hollywood Magazine on Sunday, and now will get a Rising Star Award at the Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala.

Reportedy, festival chairman Earl Greenburg said she's being recognized for her performances in "The Illusionist" and the soon-to-be-released "Home of the Brave."

She'll join male Rising Star Adam Beach at the Jan. 6 gala held at presumably a luxury hotel in Palm Springs. Greenburg said she hadn't been available to commit to the gala when the first Rising Star was named.

Drama Queen Lindsay Lashes Out At Jessica

The Teenage Drama Queen allegedly stormed out of an awards show when she saw her former assistant working for the beautiful Jessica Biel.

Ms. Lohan was drinking champagne with her mother, Dina, before running into her former PA at the glitzy GQ "Men Of The Year" Dinner.

An onlooker snapping pictures with her cingular camera phone said: "She started screaming, 'If she stays, I'm out of here! I can't look at that girl! I can't believe you would allow an assistant in here — she doesn't belong in here!'

"It was really uncalled for. Jessica and everyone else ignored her."

Biel's assistant used to work for Lohan but angered her when she quit four months ago.

Jessica and Derek Hit Las Vegas Hard

A new “It” couple has hit the streets and the tabloids. Jessica Biel and Derek Jeter were spotted getting close to one another all over the city of Las Vegas. It is still unknown whether or not the two shared a luxury hotel in Las Vegas, or if they spent the nights apart. Meanwhile, their evenings went as follows:

At Wynn Las Vegas's Tryst nightclub (you will have to break out your low interest credit cards if you want to go here!!) Saturday night, the pair snuck kisses at the VIP table they shared with Jeter's Yankee teammates, Alex Rodriguez and Jason Giambi.

The next evening, Derek, 32, and Biel, 24, played blackjack at Palms Casino Resort's Mint Lounge before dinner with two friends at the Palms' Nine restaurant. While the two are not known to be big into gambling, it is heard that both have participated in tournaments as fundraisers.

They capped off the night with a visit to Hard Rock's Body English nightclub, where they cozied up, traded pecks on the cheek and were in general "very lovey dovey" in their VIP booth, said a clubgoer.

Who thought that fine art gallery attendees would be so prude? A little public display of affection between new couple Jessica Biel and Derek Jeter left some true art fans upset at a Sombre exhibition.

The actress and the New York Yankees baseball star were checking out the Holy Image, Hallowed Ground: Icons From Sinai exhibition at Los Angeles' Getty Museum when things started getting hot and heavy.

One eyewitness tells US tabloid the National Enquirer, "It was shocking. They were making out on a veranda in full view of everyone, including several Orthodox Jewish families who'd come to see the religious artifacts." The upset witness even claims security staff had to interrupt the loved-up couple and ask them to cool it.
