The Illusionist

New movie "The Illusionist"New movie "The Illusionist"Taking a break from going out and staying at luxury hotels with new flame Derek Jeter, Jessica Biel is finding time to promote the movie rental release, "The Illusionist". The film is a mystery drama set in Vienna during the reign of Emperor Franz Joseph of Austria.

A respected movie review source described the film as follows: Edward Norton plays Eisenheim, a poor boy who finds success by becoming a magician. His childhood sweetheart Sophie, played by Jessica, is betrothed to Crown Prince Leopold (Rufus Sewell), a young man eager to grab power who fancies himself a man of science and has a reputation of beating up his girlfriends. Paul Giamatti's Chief Inspector Uhl does the prince's dirty work, but sometimes can't stomach the assignment.

Neil Burger's film is beautifully shot with period costumes and Prague making a lush substitute for Vienna.

His clever plot twists will leave most fooled until the last shot.

As teenagers Eisenheim and Sophie were banned from seeing each other. Fifteen yers later they are reunited ter during his stage act, when the Prince volunteers her for as a magacian's assistant. At that point pay attention. Everything you see from there on is a complicated setup.

If you're really concentrating, you'll figure out what's coming. But no matter. Giamatti and Sewell chew up the scenery. Jessica is stunning, as usual. And Norton plays Eisenheim as a resourceful man - and probably a good chess player. He's always 10 moves ahead of everyone else.

All in all, throw this flick on your lcd tv, get comfy and enjoy!!!
